Let’s face it; there are lots of choices in senior housing in and around the Greater Denver Area. Senior housing is part hospitality and part health care. So when two local businessmen created the Springbrooke Retirement Community – they took their own expertise and poured it into the final product.

Michael Opatowski is a local physician and Steve Elken is an owner and operator of senior communities in the area. Combined, they brought a continuum of care and the elegance, yet affordability, of a classic residential hotel when they completely refurbished and repositioned Springbrooke Retirement Community. There is hardly a day that will pass without one or both owners in the building – pouring coffee, greeting residents or offering suggestions on programs and services. Hands-on management – the way it should be!
